We read a lot about using social to empower your organisation, or training up your workforce to understand corporate responsibility in the workplace when using social. There’s a lot of talk about engaging with your workforce and promoting ‘continuous’ connection using social, and how to implement strategies to ensure compliance for your company and still benefit from enhanced workforce engagement (that word again) and brand reputation – even increased productivity – using social.
What about all the people in all the companies and organisations who are scalably disengaged with their role? What social platform is around to prevent the wall-of-death management and policy that prevents innovation and new thinking, or even risk taking? What about the social compliance implementation strategy of adequate professional use of time, and purposeful line management?
Truly, everyone looks in the wrong direction most of the time when trying to sort out the ills of big organisation woe.
